Katadyn BeFree Water Filtration System 1L

The Katadyn BeFree Black Edition 1 L is a lightweight, durable water filter bottle designed for hunting, hiking, bushcraft, fishing and emergency preparedness. The tactical black colour blends naturally into outdoor environments, while the collapsible Hydrapak® SoftFlask weighs only 73 g and packs down to save space.

Its EZ-Clean™ Hollow Fiber membrane with a 0.1-micron pore size removes bacteria, protozoa (cysts) and sediment from clear freshwater. The filter delivers up to 2 litres per minute and treats up to 1,000 litres, depending on water quality. Cleaning is quick and easy by simply shaking or swishing the filter in clean water.

The BPA- and PVC-free Hydrapak® SoftFlask features a wide 42 mm opening for easy filling and rolls up compactly after use.
