The rings are made of steel and have concave inner surfaces. Four  special screws evenly support the upper ring unit. Solid steel base fits the receiver perfectly for guaranteed accuracy. Co polymer rings surround the scope tube and evenly distribute the clasping force. Steel rings are fastened to the base from below.
